Trainee Lawyer
Mia graduated with an LLB from Queen Mary University of London, where he developed a strong academic foundation in legal principles and commercial law.
Since September 2025, he has been working as a Trainee Lawyer with FISCUSSERVE. Prior to commencing his traineeship, he completed a series of summer internships with the firm from 2023 onwards, gaining valuable practical experience in corporate and commercial legal matters and developing a thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in Cyprus.
He is currently completing the Cyprus Bar examinations and professional training requirements as part of the qualification process for admission to the Cyprus Bar Association.
As part of his role, he assists with a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including the review and drafting of agreements, legal research, preparation of legal documentation, and the provision of day-to-day legal support to clients. He also works closely with senior lawyers in advising corporate clients on various legal and regulatory issues.
In addition, he has gained experience in anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance matters, including client due diligence, KYC reviews, sanctions screening, and adverse media screening, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
He is known for his analytical approach, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal support to both local and international clients.
